About Us

When life feels heavy, confusing, or emotionally demanding, it can help to have a supportive place to talk things through. I’m Amy, and I strive to offer that kind of space in counseling for women, couples, young adults, and children who are seeking support, clarity, and a space to feel understood.

I am currently completing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University and hold an undergraduate degree in Sociology from Wingate University. I approach counseling from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to address your concerns and support your growth.

I have a special passion for supporting women in all phases of life navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with women through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. As a mom of three, I understand both the deep joy of motherhood and the exhaustion, identity shifts, and emotional strain that can come with it. I enjoy supporting women as they adjust to new roles, care for their mental health, and nurture their relationships while caring for their families.

I also work with individuals and couples navigating transitions, relationship struggles, communication issues, or parenting stress. Through 20+ years of serving with my husband in college ministry, I’ve worked closely with young adults and couples as they figure out their next steps and deal with big decisions. As a certified SYMBIS facilitator, I help couples strengthen their connection and build a solid foundation for their relationship.

I work with clients from all backgrounds and beliefs, and I approach things in a way that matches your values. If you’d like to include faith in our work together, we can do that, but it’s never required. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your relationship, or your family, my goal is to help you feel understood and supported as you move forward.

I’d be honored to walk with you through this season.
