Meet Savanah
About Us

Hi! My name is Savanah Carlyle and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) at CFMC. I received my master's in counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. I also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
I am committed to creating a compassionate, accepting space, as well as a therapeutic relationship where clients can feel validated, learn new coping strategies, and feel empowered towards growth. Regardless of their age, I believe that each person is unique and deserves support, reflection, and empathy.
Client populations that I serve include tweens (ages 10+), teens, young adults, and adults. My experience includes but is not limited to child and adolescent mental health, stress, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief support, and life transitions.
Additionally, I have advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International, and I am working towards becoming certified in perinatal counseling. I am passionate about providing women with support as they journey through postpartum challenges, pregnancy, infertility, perinatal loss, and general women’s health issues.
I use an integrative approach to counseling by applying the techniques and skills of Person-Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral modalities to meet clients where they are. I believe that clients have an innate potential for change through a strong and supportive therapeutic relationship. I also believe that people are whole beings and I am dedicated to providing holistic client care. I consider it both an honor and a privilege to be a part of my clients’ meaningful life journey.
Savanah is available to support clients in-person and virtually in North Carolina.
